Tomáš Kabeláč

Tomáš Kabeláč is the Sustainability and Innovation Manager at Soulmates Ventures. He became actively interested in linking sustainability and innovation for the promotion of environment, health and education while studying at Palacký University in Olomouc and studying abroad at Jÿvaskÿla University in Finland. During his studies, he also attended the first-ever management course in sustainability in the Czech Republic under the auspices of the University of Economics in Prague. He started working at Soulmates Ventures as an editor before graduation. He gradually moved up to his current role over the course of 4 years, where he seeks out and evaluates new investment opportunities in the market for purpose-profit-driven startups and then helps them scale their positive impact and thus business potential. Currently, he is a member of the Association of Managers in Sustainability (AMMUR), the Czech Sustainable Investment Forum (CSIF), and a project innovation evaluator at the EcoTech Hub of CzechInvest. He is also leading the Sustainability Acceleration Programme in Soulmates Ventures Accelerator, where the programme is currently active for the U.K. company Unmanned Life.
