Soulmates Ventures had the privilege of being a proud partner of the Engaged Investment Conference, an international event dedicated to early-stage tech startups from the Central and Eastern European (CEE) region.
Held in Prague on October 10th, this conference, hosted by the investment group DEPO Ventures, represented a significant step in strengthening the startup ecosystem within the CEE.
Partnership on the Engaged Investment Conference
A key focus of the conference was educating and connecting the diverse participants, including business angels, general partners (GPs), limited partners (LPs), accelerators, and more. This aligns with Soulmates Ventures’ objective of not just investing, but also educating and inspiring stakeholders in the startup ecosystem. The conference included five-panel discussions, workshops, speed dating, and a networking dinner. Topics covered included the benefits of cross-border investments, cooperation between angel investors and VC funds, successful exit strategies, and increasing women’s participation in investing.
In addition to active participation in the conference, Soulmates Ventures, in collaboration with DEPO Ventures, successfully realized two significant investments. These ventures highlight the synergy of our combined efforts in the startup ecosystem.
