Soulmates Ventures recently participated in the EU Startup Summit held on May 9-10 at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta, Malta. The event gathered over 2,000 attendees, including 950 founders and 240 investors, fostering an inspiring networking environment. Attendees had the opportunity to learn from unicorn founders, global tech leaders, and visionary CEOs, who provided valuable insights into the latest trends in the tech and startup world. A key highlight was the pitch competition, where 15 early-stage startups vied for a €390k prize package.
The winner, Resourcly, impressed with their AI-based shared inventory platform that stabilizes supply chains, improves working capital, and prevents waste. By promoting inter-industry collaboration, Resourcly is accelerating the shift to a circular economy, turning unutilized inventory from one manufacturer into resources for another. Soulmates Ventures attended the summit to seek out sustainable startups to invest in, aiming to connect with like-minded individuals and exchange knowledge within the ecosystem. Our team, represented by our Investment Director Michal Sikyta and Operations Director Arjun Sirohi, engaged in numerous discussions, exploring innovative ideas and fostering potential collaborations, furthering our mission to support and invest in sustainable startups.
